It is approximately 575 miles southeast of Florida, located at the southern tip of the Bahamas. Grand Turk is a British governed island; however, the local currency is the US Dollar. THINGS TO DO ON THE ISLAND OF GRAND TURK: Without a doubt the major attraction to Grand Turk is the spectacular diving and snorkeling but there are thing to do for the non-divers as well such as; bird watching, boating to uninhabited cays and feeding the Sting Rays, fishing, visiting the Turks and Caicos National Museum or the 150 year old cast iron light house or simply strolling the quaint streets admiring the colonial Bermudian architecture. But for some just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful Caribbean Sea and nearly deserted beaches is enough.
We are conveniently located in town and can pick you up in the boat for your dives each day on the beach right in front of your accommodations, weather permitting. We specialize in small groups, convenient & relaxed diving, and personal attention. Come see why we have more fun! Mitch Rolling, the owner of Blue Water Divers, is also an accomplished musician who plays three nights a week on Grand Turk. On two of those nights, he is joined by the High Tide band, featuring Zeus on the rip saw and Conchy (aka Conch Boy) on the djembe. The High Tide band performs extremely unique arrangements of many classic hits in addition to a variety of soca, calypso and reggae songs that are an integral part of the island culture.
